Verve’s Blaze

I forgot to watch Dancing With The Stars last night and tonight it was almost over when I turn the TV on. The kids have too much homeworks to do and need some assistance so I did not turn on the TV until they are all done. And I missed it again. Better luck next time and next week, I will make sure that everything will get done before 7pm. Homeworks, dinner etc.  I did not even cook tonight, we still have some spaghetti left so I told them, let’s have leftover to make some room on the fridge. Geez, I need to clean my fridge and throw some stuff away if needed. I have not done it in a month.  Not really in the mood to do it. Just being lazy all of a sudden. Okay, I need to go now and finish up some things before I run out of time. Take care!

My little girl had lots of fun hanging out with her friends today at the birthday party. Almost all of her classmate were there and it looked like they own the place screaming, running, playing anything they can think of. I wanted to go to the mall but she told me to just wait for her and we will go after the party. She wants me to just stay there and watch all the fun they have. It sure was fun. Then afterwards we went to the mall and gladly I found the perfect dress for the wedding (My friend’s son is getting married on the 23rd) and we are invited. I was so glad, I paid half price for it. I have been  eyeing that dress and hoping to have it on sale. You know, every penny counts and I am one of those smart shoppers. hehehe. Never pay full price. LOL! That’s about it and hope your Saturday was fun.

I was in a hurry to let my son finish his homework co’z he has a cub scout tonight and he will be the snack helper. Goofy me, i forgot all about it so I have to run to the store and grab some snacks for the twelve scouts. I told hubby to be home before it starts so that he can take Joey.  If I take him then I have to take my little girl, no excuses. I am not really in the mood tonight to sit there for one and a half hour and wait till his done. It’s fun though but I just want to stay at home, I can finish a lot of things. I better go and let him get ready, hubby is almost here and as soon as he’s here, it’s time for them to go. Take care everyone, keep warm!

I was looking through my album and oh boy! there were lot of pictures in there. Pictures of long time ago that I forgot when and where was it taken. I had fun looking through it, it sure is a memento that will lasts for a long time. When my kids were small I did not get a chance to download their baby pictures in my computer. Obvious, no time to do it when they were small. I had it printed and put in a box somewhere. Now I am so lazy to find it, I wanted to make a cd out of it or put it in one, that way it won’t be lost. I have to find time to do it pretty soon or else it will be forgotten.
Here’s a photo of my friends here in CO, this was taken last May at my friend Dalia’s house. We had a little gathering on that day, she is a good cook, she was cooking all kinds of Filipino foods that day, that we all loved and enjoy.

Hello Mr. President, and my sincere congratulations to you. Change has come, although, some were so happy there were also people who is not so sure. But the best thing is, We all love this country, and try your best to make it better place for all of us. There is going to be a lot of challenges ahead, but if we are all in this together, nothing is impossible. It was the craziest thing i have seen on Wednesday morning. When I took the kids to their designated classroom, a lot of kids were dancing in the hallway and singing. They were so happy that they won. LOL! They were smiling from ear to ear and most of them were feeling so good. Thankfully, class has not started yet. They were just showing their emotions. Have a good Thursday!

I have been so busy that i did not even change my calendar and welcome the month of November. it’s the busiest month for me. Kids have lots of parties and birthdays and tomorrow, better not forget it’s Election Day. I did not vote early nor do the mail-in ballot, I always love to go there and see what’s going on. The last time I voted, there weren’t a long wait or a long line, so maybe this time, it’s the same. At school, where my kids go, parking was a bit of a challenge co’z there were already a lot of people voting so early in the morning. Hope all of you will go out and vote, let your voice be heard and God Bless the people and Bless the United States of America!

Bye-bye October, I hate to see you go but I can’t stop you either. See you next year, and I can’t wait to meet you again. This is what my little girl murmuring about so early in the morning. She’s excited that today is halloween, there will be lots of happening and so on and so forth. I was at their classroom party this morning and it was so fascinating seeing all the kids in costume. Her teacher looks so pretty on her witch costume, they all look fantastic. My blueberry muffin was a hit, which I am glad so that i don’t have to bring home a leftover :D.  I do need to go to Sam’s and get some candies for tonight. I am putting some decorations outside and so glad that the weather is great, 70’s on Halloween.  Happy Halloween, and Stay Safe! mwah!

It’ Tuesday and so far my week is fine.  It’s actually a fall break for most schools so dropping them off is a breeze. And, oh by the way! I need to get two balikbayan boxes before i forgot. I have some stuff saved here and I needed to put it in the box and see what else to get. Hubby said to sent some of our stuff that we don’t need anymore, someone will use it there and will make good use of it. My sister told me to put some baking mixes, like brownies, cakes, cookies. She loves to bake during her free time and my niece is liking it too. She said they have it there but it costs to much and also she wants to try the one made in the USA.  Ok, no problem, i will put  a lot in the box then.  Got to go, time for homeworks, the kids are waiting for me. The weather  is great, and the kids had a lot of fun at the “Fall Festival”. I am trying to sneak out and go to the mall to get a birthday present for my beloved son who will be turning 9 tomorrow. I told my husband to take them somewhere first, then I can go and be on my way without any interruption. I wanted it to be a big surprise. hehehe.  He mentioned a lot of things that he likes. If I can buy one or two of those stuff he likes that would be great and of course will make him very happy. I can’t even imagine he is 9, it felt just like yesterday when i first saw him. Time really flies, in fact so fast that sometimes I wanted it to stop, even for a little while.  Have a great wekend y’all!

It has been  pretty cold lately here.  Fall weather is actually here, can no longer deny. Their  swimming lesson went well yesterday, although it was pretty cold walking all the way to the car but it was not that bad. As much as they had fun, I also had fun chatting with my newfound friend. One from India, and the other one is from Thailand. They are also mothers like me who is in deeply need of a break.  We are laughing how we needed a break away from the kids but the answer is we simply can’t. Life here is way different from where we came from. Most of our family are still there so there’s really no one to call if we needed a break. We promise to call each other and have some tea sometimes, chat and have a laugh. Although, life is not always a bed of roses, but it can also be fun. Smile and be glad!
