There goes October!
Bye-bye October, I hate to see you go but I can’t stop you either. See you next year, and I can’t wait to meet you again. This is what my little girl murmuring about so early in the morning. She’s excited that today is halloween, there will be lots of happening and so on and so forth. I was at their classroom party this morning and it was so fascinating seeing all the kids in costume. Her teacher looks so pretty on her witch costume, they all look fantastic. My blueberry muffin was a hit, which I am glad so that i don’t have to bring home a leftover 
. I do need to go to Sam’s and get some candies for tonight. I am putting some decorations outside and so glad that the weather is great, 70’s on Halloween. Happy Halloween, and Stay Safe! mwah!
So far, so good!
It’ Tuesday and so far my week is fine. It’s actually a fall break for most schools so dropping them off is a breeze. And, oh by the way! I need to get two balikbayan boxes before i forgot. I have some stuff saved here and I needed to put it in the box and see what else to get. Hubby said to sent some of our stuff that we don’t need anymore, someone will use it there and will make good use of it. My sister told me to put some baking mixes, like brownies, cakes, cookies. She loves to bake during her free time and my niece is liking it too. She said they have it there but it costs to much and also she wants to try the one made in the USA. Ok, no problem, i will put a lot in the box then. Got to go, time for homeworks, the kids are waiting for me. Have a good afternoon!
What a Saturday!
The weather is great, and the kids had a lot of fun at the “Fall Festival”. I am trying to sneak out and go to the mall to get a birthday present for my beloved son who will be turning 9 tomorrow. I told my husband to take them somewhere first, then I can go and be on my way without any interruption. I wanted it to be a big surprise. hehehe. He mentioned a lot of things that he likes. If I can buy one or two of those stuff he likes that would be great and of course will make him very happy. I can’t even imagine he is 9, it felt just like yesterday when i first saw him. Time really flies, in fact so fast that sometimes I wanted it to stop, even for a little while. Have a great wekend y’all! 
Fall Weather!
It has been pretty cold lately here. Fall weather is actually here, can no longer deny. Their swimming lesson went well yesterday, although it was pretty cold walking all the way to the car but it was not that bad. As much as they had fun, I also had fun chatting with my newfound friend. One from India, and the other one is from Thailand. They are also mothers like me who is in deeply need of a break. We are laughing how we needed a break away from the kids but the answer is we simply can’t. Life here is way different from where we came from. Most of our family are still there so there’s really no one to call if we needed a break. We promise to call each other and have some tea sometimes, chat and have a laugh. Although, life is not always a bed of roses, but it can also be fun. Smile and be glad!
It’s Sunday!
Tomorrow is a new week once again. Time really flies, isn’t it? I will take the kids to church today, and also today is Faith In Action Day in our church, so we will be having some projects to do for the community. It’s a good day in the neighborhood, fine weather and pretty warm. In the afternoon we will be going to CornerStar to look for some stuff. They are newly opened and let’s see what they got.
They have a Home Goods over there, i have been looking for a new coffee table to match our new entertainment center but so far no luck, i couldn’t find the right one. I’m in no hurry anyway, i know I will be able to find the one I like, just be more patient. I need to go now and I wish you guys a good week ahead!
Good Morning!
My morning is fine so far. Took the kids to school, and here i am, sitting and enjoying my cup of tea. I will be going in a while to help at school again. The weather is great which is a plus so doing the “Thursday Folder” will be quick. I have to be quick because i have a dentist appointment right after. Although i really don’t like to go to the dentist but no choice. Cleaning it every six months makes a great difference. No cavity, no plaque, and the results healthy gums. So that’s why it’s a good idea.
Have to get ready now and start my day. It’s going to be long but it will be fun. Hubby was asking, going shopping again? Not today, he said, that’s good. LOL! Oh well! Got to go.
Beginning of the week!
It’s Monday, beginning of a new week. I wonder what’s in store for this week. What would be the stock market performance? What would be the final debate? I know Obama has an edge over McCain but who would be the next President? I hope people is smart enough to choose and hope all of us will go out and vote. We do need change, a change for the better and I can’t wait.
On the other hand, over the weekend, the weather was not very nice. Cold and wet. Going out was not fun at all. We all like to stay inside and just hang out. My son has been itching to play his Wii game and that is what he did for the most part. Overall, it was a fine weekend. Have a great week!
Morning with Moms!
I am supposed to be there at 7:15am but it didn’t work. “Morning with moms” is sponsored by PTO. It’s like a breakfast at school, you meet a lot of moms, chit-chat and make friends. Eat some donuts, drink some coffee or tea and just have fun. I was not able to go there, it was a freezing morning, so i did not bother to wake up the kids early. I let them sleep for a little bit more, while I was busy checking all their stuff for school. Making sure their jackets, gloves are ready, you know how gloves seem to just disappear and it’s so hard to find it. LOL! Little things like that, makes life fun.
When I got there a school, the parking lot is pack. A lot of people came for “Morning with Moms”. It must have been fun, i promised myself to go there the next time. Hope it will work by then. Stay warm, it’s pretty cold.
Forgetting!
Geez, am i getting old or what? I keep forgetting to return a book to the public library. I keep thinking of returning it but at the last minute i forgot. I am almost half way there then i remember but it’s too late to go back. Ok, next time always next time. Maybe i have to write it on a sticky note and put it in the mirror, that’s what my little girl suggested. She keeps telling me I am going koko. Whatever that means, probably a new “slang” she learned from school.
It’s their first day of swimming this afternoon so I am thinking of getting everything ready before we go. Homeworks need to be done, all that fun stuff. Not sure what to do with dinner, hope hubby will do it. Maybe, just maybe. LOL!
New Blog? It is.
Yippy! Got a new blog! Blogging is really fun, not only you meet different people from around the world; you can also make friends, and share lots of ideas and thoughts. That’s why I really enjoyed it.
And yes! We are in the middle of the year, my kids are on their break, and they will be in a new chapter comes the next school year. They are growing too fast, that sometimes I like to stop the time and let them stay like this, if only. My little boy is not little anymore and so does my little girl. Strange, but sometimes I asked myself, where did time go??? As what KAYA would say,” everything grows “, baby grows, animal grows, everything grows and that’s the cycle of life!
Being a mom makes me a different person. It used to be all about me, now it’s about them. I don’t care not having anything as long as my kids have it, I am fine with it. It’s all for them, I want the best for them. I think parents really want the best for their kids; we want them healthy, happy and wonderful. As they grow older, they will know so much about life, and we hope that they will always choose the right way. With prayers, everything is possible. Let us show them lots of LOVE.
And speaking of it, I need to get up now, and do some cooking for dinner. A full stomach makes a happy family; my little girl is getting hungry. She is hungry every minute. Have a good day and stay safe!
