A not so fun Sunday!
It’s snowing and it’s pretty cold. We did not go to church, we just stayed home and I made some good food for this cold weather. In the afternoon, the snow stop and we went to Costco to look up some stuff then went back home right away. I don’t feel that good, I am kind of tired and I feel like going to sleep early. I don’t have to wake up early in the morning. Kids don’t have school and I don’t have anything plan for Monday. Probably just take it easy and enjoy this free time we have. I know my son will say, Mom I am kind of bored can I play with somebody? LOL! We might watch a movie or do something then. Have a good Sunday!

Hubby is officially cooking and the turkey is in. He also included a whole chicken for the menu so the kids have choices. Joey is not into turkey, he is so picky and never developed a taste for turkey. He likes chicken better. A very exciting day for the most part especially for Joey, I have no idea why he is so happy today but I’ll let it be, no questions asked. LOL! I forgot to thaw my ground pork so it’s still thawing and it’s probably okay if I’ll make the lumpia shanghai some other time. We have enough already and leftover is not always fun, plus putting it in the refrigerator and trying to fit everything is somewhat hassle, so it’s better not to cook too much, just enough. Beginning of a new week!
This week kids will be at school for only two days, Monday & Tuesday. My son is glad about it and after “Thanksgiving” they are off-tract as well. I felt so tired today. My little girl has a party at school, I wanted to be there but I feel asleep and forgot the whole thing. Good thing, I brought the popcorn early in the morning or else, they won’t have any. LOL! I pick them up at 3pm and went straight home right away. A friend called if I can watch her daughter on Friday but I told her I can’t. Hopefully, I can do some Christmas shopping on Friday and will be able to get some good deals. And yes, I am sitting here waiting to watch “Dancing with the Stars”. I told hubby to grab some take out cause I don’t feel like cooking. Just being lazy. Have a good week!
It’s Friday!
Friday? I am glad it is. For tomorrow I don’t have to wake up early and fight with traffic. A little break from all of it is what I need. Just a little. Geez, i wanted to watch the “Twilight” but it’s sold out for the whole weekend. I have to wait next week to see it. It must be a great movie to have it sold out that quick. But there’s always another day, another time. As what hubby said, be patient and you will see it.:) So I guess, I need to be patient then and wait. So to make me feel better, we went out to Pho Saigon and have some Vietnamese noodles. Yummy, I really loved it and can’t wait to go back and have their food again. I love Vietnamese food. I am looking forward to have it soon.

I forgot to watch Dancing With The Stars last night and tonight it was almost over when I turn the TV on. The kids have too much homeworks to do and need some assistance so I did not turn on the TV until they are all done. And I missed it again. Better luck next time and next week, I will make sure that everything will get done before 7pm. Homeworks, dinner etc. I did not even cook tonight, we still have some spaghetti left so I told them, let’s have leftover to make some room on the fridge. Geez, I need to clean my fridge and throw some stuff away if needed. I have not done it in a month. Not really in the mood to do it. Just being lazy all of a sudden. Okay, I need to go now and finish up some things before I run out of time. Take care!
It was a fun b-day party!
My little girl had lots of fun hanging out with her friends today at the birthday party. Almost all of her classmate were there and it looked like they own the place screaming, running, playing anything they can think of. I wanted to go to the mall but she told me to just wait for her and we will go after the party. She wants me to just stay there and watch all the fun they have. It sure was fun. Then afterwards we went to the mall and gladly I found the perfect dress for the wedding (My friend’s son is getting married on the 23rd) and we are invited. I was so glad, I paid half price for it. I have been eyeing that dress and hoping to have it on sale. You know, every penny counts and I am one of those smart shoppers. hehehe. Never pay full price. LOL! That’s about it and hope your Saturday was fun.
Cub Scout
I was in a hurry to let my son finish his homework co’z he has a cub scout tonight and he will be the snack helper. Goofy me, i forgot all about it so I have to run to the store and grab some snacks for the twelve scouts. I told hubby to be home before it starts so that he can take Joey. If I take him then I have to take my little girl, no excuses. I am not really in the mood tonight to sit there for one and a half hour and wait till his done. It’s fun though but I just want to stay at home, I can finish a lot of things. I better go and let him get ready, hubby is almost here and as soon as he’s here, it’s time for them to go. Pretty Ladies!
I was looking through my album and oh boy! there were lot of pictures in there. Pictures of long time ago that I forgot when and where was it taken. I had fun looking through it, it sure is a memento that will lasts for a long time. When my kids were small I did not get a chance to download their baby pictures in my computer. Obvious, no time to do it when they were small. I had it printed and put in a box somewhere. Now I am so lazy to find it, I wanted to make a cd out of it or put it in one, that way it won’t be lost. I have to find time to do it pretty soon or else it will be forgotten.
Here’s a photo of my friends here in CO, this was taken last May at my friend Dalia’s house. We had a little gathering on that day, she is a good cook, she was cooking all kinds of Filipino foods that day, that we all loved and enjoy.

Two days after!
Hello Mr. President, and my sincere congratulations to you. Change has come, although, some were so happy there were also people who is not so sure. But the best thing is, We all love this country, and try your best to make it better place for all of us. There is going to be a lot of challenges ahead, but if we are all in this together, nothing is impossible. It was the craziest thing i have seen on Wednesday morning. When I took the kids to their designated classroom, a lot of kids were dancing in the hallway and singing. They were so happy that they won. LOL! They were smiling from ear to ear and most of them were feeling so good. Thankfully, class has not started yet. They were just showing their emotions. Have a good Thursday!
Hello November!
I have been so busy that i did not even change my calendar and welcome the month of November. it’s the busiest month for me. Kids have lots of parties and birthdays and tomorrow, better not forget it’s Election Day. I did not vote early nor do the mail-in ballot, I always love to go there and see what’s going on. The last time I voted, there weren’t a long wait or a long line, so maybe this time, it’s the same. At school, where my kids go, parking was a bit of a challenge co’z there were already a lot of people voting so early in the morning. Hope all of you will go out and vote, let your voice be heard and God Bless the people and Bless the United States of America!
